In SAS® Data Integration Studio transformations, target columns can be defined as derived columns that are populated based on expressions. Often these expressions include references to columns from source tables. In previous releases of SAS Data Integration Studio when you exited the Expression Builder window, mappings were automatically created between the source columns and the derived column. This automatic mapping no longer takes place; therefore, you must manually perform these process.
If these mappings are not manually defined, the following warning will be generated during job execution and the job will not complete with a zero return code.
